Important information prior to enrolling with TLH Training Group
Course Delivery
This course will be delivered in the workplace or at a TLH Training Group site (10-14 Smith Street, Parramatta, NSW, 2150).
Entry Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
The physical capacity to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills whilst wearing the appropriate PPE.
Participants must be able to read and write with a short literacy and numeracy test required.
Course Duration
Face to face that runs over 2 days
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the sections following.
Certificate Renewal Requirements
All forklift licenses are issued with a 5-year expiry date.
After obtaining your Notice of Satisfactory (NSA), you must complete an Application for a national licence to perform high-risk work (N5 form provided by your SafeWork NSW assessor) and lodge within 60 days from the issue date of your NSA. You are able to lodge your application at any participating Australia Post outlet within NSW or ACT.

Payment Terms – Payment for individual participants is upfront via our booking system. Group booking payment terms are based on the agreement between the client and TLH Training Group.

What happens at the course?

Delivery of course information and learning activities.

Plan and prepare for the work task
Pre-start checks and operational checks are carried out on forklift
Pick up, drive, maneuver, and place a minimum of 250kg dynamic or non-dynamic loads safely at several heights with a compliant racking system.
Plan Operations: Hazard management and consultation.
Conclude Operations: Parking, Securing the equipment, and following site-specific procedures.
